innerAssist Psychological Services respects your privacy and handles personal data carefully and confidentially.
Personal data
I collect and process personal data that are necessary for providing psychological care, communication, scheduling, administration and invoicing. This may include your name, contact details, date of birth, relevant health information, treatment notes, correspondence and invoice details.
Purpose of processing
Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:

Legal basis
Personal data are processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Dutch Medical Treatment Contracts Act (WGBO) and other relevant healthcare legislation.
Client records are kept for 20 years in accordance with the WGBO. Financial administration is kept for 7 years in accordance with Dutch tax legislation.
Confidentiality
All information shared during treatment is confidential. Information is only shared with third parties with your written consent, unless there is a legal obligation or serious safety concern.
When cases are discussed in intervision or professional consultation, this is always done anonymously.
Security
I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. These include secure digital storage, strong passwords, multi-factor authentication, secure communication via Zivver, and secure backup procedures.
Paper documents are kept to a minimum and are digitised where possible.
Third-party services
For my practice I may use trusted service providers, such as Zivver, Zoho Invoice, Embloom, Wix, Zoom, and secure storage systems. These providers are used only where necessary for the functioning of the practice.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, a copy of your client record, and — where legally possible — deletion or restriction of processing.
