innerAssist will never share your data with any third party unless you have given your written consent and only in order to help you get good support or healthcare.

Legal exceptions to obtaining your consent
There are some situations where I would be required to share your information with third parties without your consent.

  • If I believe that a child, elderly person, or disabled person is being abused, I may be required to file a report with the appropriate services.

  • If I believe that a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another, I may be required to take protective actions.

  • If the client threatens to harm himself/herself, I may be obligated to seek hospitalization for him/her or to contact family members or others who can help provide protection. These situations have rarely occurred in my practice. If a similar situation occurs, I will make every effort to fully discuss it with you before taking any action.

In those instances, I will always follow local and national safeguarding policies.

How do we store your data?
I make best efforts to ensure the security of your data.

All personal information provided is stored in compliance with EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) rules.

I keep printed or handwritten information about you to a minimum in order to protect your data. Data on the built-in, solid-state drive (SSD) is encrypted using a hardware-accelerated AES engine built into the T2 chip. This encryption is performed with 256-bit keys tied to a unique identifier within the T2 chip.
